Good pack, easy to use!

I’ve been using the Dust & Atmospheres pack from Layer Supply in Final Cut Pro (FCPX), and it has completely elevated the look of my video projects. The quality of these overlays is top-tier; they add an instant, organic cinematic feel to shot footage without looking artificial or overdone.

Integrating them into FCPX is seamless. Just drop the clip on top of your timeline, set the blend mode (like Screen or Overlay), and you get an immediate visual upgrade. The variety of subtle particles and realistic light rays makes it super easy to match the mood of any scene.

Tip for FCPX users: Place the overlay directly onto an Adjustment Layer! This gives you maximum flexibility to quickly tweak, re-use, and apply the atmospheric effect across multiple clips or your entire timeline without messing up individual shot settings.

Honestly found myself getting new edit ideas just scrolling through the assets. It feels more like a creative toolkit than just a folder of effects.

Really happy with this pack. I’m always a bit hesitant with asset packs because half the time you I up downloading 300 things and actually using about four of them, but this one feels genuinely useful.

There’s a really nice amount of variety without it becoming a giant folder of filler, and I’ve already caught myself thinking of different projects I could use these CRT effects for. More than worth the price.
